Elite Fairways is an independent publication about elite golf courses, the trips around them, and the places people live when the golf is the point. The byline is the paper, not a person.
We are edited from Andalusia. Coverage is Spain and Portugal first — Sotogrande, the Costa del Sol, the Algarve, the Lisbon coast, and the Catalan courses that earn a page. We do not run a newsroom on four continents, and we do not publish a course we cannot stand behind.
How a page is dated
Each guide and course study carries two lines: where the notes are from, and when fees and access were last checked. If a number is operator-supplied rather than confirmed, we say so. Corrections go to hello@elitefairways.com.
What we are not
We are not an estate agency, a tour operator, or a booking desk. Property pages are editorial. If we ever introduce a reader to a licensed local agency, that will be named, with the reader’s consent. Until then we do not pass names around.
